We are delighted to confirm that major refurbishment work will start at our main surgery in Bread Street on February 23rd. During this time, the site will remain open as veterinary services will be delivered from one half of the building will construction work proceeds in the other half.
Given the extent of work taking place, and the Covid-19 restrictions still in place, things may be a little more difficult for the next few months as we adapt to working out of half the normal space. Unfortunately we are also likely to lose our car park temporarily but we hope the inconvenience will be a price worth paying for a brand new fully modern veterinary clinic in the middle of the City.
We thank everyone in advance for bearing with us during this time!
An Exciting Future for West End Vets
The work at Bread Street is due to complete by early June. The work will take place in two phases and at the end of the first phase we will have a brand new operating theatre, dog war, cat ward, isolation kennels, a new in-house lab and a full complement of new equipment It may seem a little way off but we are sure it will be worth the wait!
We are undertaking this work to give us all these improvements plus more consulting rooms, an improved waiting area and a more modern and welcoming Reception.
This extension means we will be able to offer more appointments and do more on site rather than referring our patients elsewhere. The work has been delayed by COVID-19 but we are delighted that it is finally happening!
